Kids Zone

God isn’t just for adults, ya know.  God is actually into little ones – He loves our children more than we could ever imagine; and at The DC we want to reflect that love in how we do KIDS Ministry.  In order to better care for your children The DC KIDS Ministry has been organized into two parts: Lil Kids Zone & Kids Zone.

Lil’ Kids Zone | 6 weeks - 24 months
Kids Zone | Toddlers - Elementary

Toddler:          2 & 3 year olds

Preschoolers:  4 & 5 year olds

Elementary:     1st – 5th grade

Having the greatest KIDS Ministry in the world isn’t easy – it takes a lot of intentionality.  In order to keep everyone on the same page and moving in the right direction we have a few values that best express who we are:

T – Teaching Dialogue
We want to show the kids of our community how to have a dialogue with their Creator.

A – Age-Appropriate Engaging Environment
We have created a fun-filled atmosphere that inspires children to explore this dialogue through videos, puppets, music, games, and interaction with others.

L – Living Behaviors
Children naturally learn by example, so we will share Jesus through our actions and behaviors.  We will never coerce children, but rather nurture, encourage, and believe in them.

K – Kid Safe Team
Our kids are important to us and we want to provide a safe and secure environment for them.  Each member of our team has one thing in common:  a passion for children.  All leaders and volunteers have been through an orientation process, training, and are screened to work with your child.

What To Expect For Your Infant/Toddler During the Gathering
The first thing you should expect for your child here at The DC is genuine love.  That love is shown through the excellence of our KIDS Team and how they operate on Sundays.  If you want to better prepare for that loving experience then keep reading:

What to Bring
Please bring whatever items are necessary while you are away from your child for approximately one hour.  Please be sure to label all of your child’s belongings.Check-In/Out
A leader will meet you at the check-in area to receive your child and belongings.  When checking in your child, please note any information that is needed such as allergies, feeding times, sleeping times, or special needs.

At Check-In, you will be given a pager and your child’s security code.  A leader will apply an adhesive name tag to your child’s back.  This tag will include your child’s name, pager number, security code and special instructions.  If you are needed at your child’s room, you will be paged.  It is a vibrating pager, so please hold or wear the pager at all times.  The same person that checked in your child must present the pager and security code upon return to your child’s room.  A child will not be released to a parent without presentation of the assigned pager and security code.

Experience
We want your child’s experience to be fun! We will provide learning experiences that are reinforced through videos, songs, play-time and other activities.

Healthy Kids
In order to protect all children, we request that you not place your child in our care if they show signs of illness, such as fever, rash, persistent cough, or diarrhea.

About Us

The Dialogue Church is a “community in conversation”, simply meaning we are not done yet. We have yet to arrive at our final destination. As a community of faith-dwellers we are on a journey toward Jesus. We believe that learning and following the Way of Jesus Christ allows people to experience true life. Our mission is simple; we want to build a dialogue between God and the people of Manchester.

The DC gathers every Sunday at 10 AM. We currently meet at 62 Lowell Street in Downtown Manchester. For more information click here.
