Story
The Dialogue Church was officially launched on April 8th, 2007.
The daring adventure began in 2001 when a dream was planted in the hearts of Anthony Milas and Steve Jesmer. At the time Steve was serving as an Associate Pastor and Anthony as the Senior Pastor of a growing church in Salem, NH (Granite State Baptist Church). Steve was on the Granite Team from 1998 to 2006. Their dream was to reach New England with the love and message of God’s Story. They wanted to see people’s lives changed for the better. Anthony and Steve didn’t care about appearing religious or simply making “converts”; they wanted to see people transformed from the inside out. They wanted to see men, women, boys, and girls falling in love with God and expressing it through their service to others. To the core of their being they believed that Jesus Christ died and rose again for every single person on the face of the planet. These two pioneers in the faith were willing to stop at nothing to see all of New England impacted by the supernatural grace of God. The plan was to multiply churches and leaders as far as the gospel story could take them.
Since then, Cross Roads Baptist Church in Pelham, NH has been planted and is now a thriving spiritual community. The Journey Baptist Church in Rochester, NH has been birthed and is growing strong. In the fall of 2006, New Heights Community Church was started in Haverhill, MA through the combined efforts of Cross Roads, Granite State, and a few other local churches who have networked together for the expressed purpose of planting vibrant spiritual communities all over New England.
In January of 2006 Steve and Anthony sat down and decided that it was finally time to step out and reach into the community of Manchester, NH, the largest city in northern New England. Soon thereafter, Steve along with two other members of the GSBC Pastoral Team began preparing for what would be the ride of their lives. Along the road of preparation, a wonderful team of spiritual revolutionists have been gathered and strengthened for the journey ahead. Now, every DC participant has a huge heart to see Jesus in His rawest form put on display for all to see and understand.
The Future of The Dialogue Church is being written as we speak and anyone can be a part of it. We welcome all those who would dare to join the journey we have embarked upon towards Jesus, the Living Story of God.
We officially launched The Dialogue Church on Easter, April 8, 2007.
