3:10 Challenge
WHAT IS THE 3:10 CHALLENGE?
For the next 3 months I will bring the first 10% of my gross weekly income to my local church.
IN MALACHI 3:10 GOD SAYS,
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. (Malalchi 3:10 ESV)
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Read and listen to what the Bible has to say about “tithing.” A tithing lifestyle will not only grow your faith but it will also grow God’s flock, the local church! As you take the 3:10 Challenge practice the following spiritual habits:
1. TRUST GOD
Trust is always tied to tangible stuff: money and possessions. Tithing is trusting. As we bring the first 10% of our gross weekly income to our local church we are learning to trust God with our whole lives.
2. TRAIN YOUR MONEY
It’s time to create a budget and start telling your money where to go. Plan your spending with this simple formula: bring 10% to God, give 10% to savings, and live on the remaining 80%.
3. TRACK YOUR BLESSINGS
God promises to bless your life as you faithfully bring the tithe. Develop an attitude of gratitude by taking a “blessings inventory.” For the next 3 months grab a journal and write down all the blessings you can see!

HOW TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE?
1. COMPLETE THE CONNECTION CARD (on Sunday) and mark “I’m ready to trust God & take the 3:10 Challenge.”
2. CALCULATE MY WEEKLY TITHE by dividing my weekly gross income by 10.
3. COMMIT TO A GIVING OPTION that works best:
- Sunday Envelope
- Give Online at www.theDC.tv/give
- Mail to The Dialogue Church, PO Box 5916, Manchester, NH 03108
- Use your Bank’s Bill Pay service (this is usually a free service at most banks)
